2017 DB Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Templeton Gap District Paso Robles SOMM CHOICE AWARD

Templeton Gap District, Paso Robles. Small lot production and sustainable farming practices. This Cabernet is light in style, yet rich and elegant with fresh berry notes, red and dark fruit flavors, crushed violets, blackcurrant leaf and slight hints of vanilla. The focus for this wine is on the fruit and light oak. Aged 17 months in French oak and neutral oak, filtered, no fining, 12.8% alc. This wine is made to be enjoyed "now" or for saving in your cellar!. This is a cool climate wine and not your typical Cabernet. Each bottle of wine is 750 ml.
